Design-build

Our Principal, as well as the Architect partners we work with will help ensure your space is not only maximally functional but also beautiful. Once your project plans meet your various needs and have been finalized, we personally come on-site to perform the work.
Pre-Construction Project Consulting
Similar to Design-build, this service arms you with the knowledge, vocabulary and path forward to confidently pursue your project with us as the builder, or sending out bid requests to other contractors. Having a detailed scope of work as well as the knowledge of why certain aspects are needed or not helps avoid being taken for a ride by unscrupulous third parties.
Custom Built-ins and Woodworking
We leverage our woodshop and design iterations to bring functional yet beautiful pieces into your living / working spaces. Available for both residential and commercial applications, see what a considered object can do for your space.
Our Story
About Kojacks Contracting
Our Principal, Koblar Jackson, has spent nearly two decades pursuing beauty in the built environment. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Michigan State University, where he led the competitive building team to a NAHB national Championship, Koblar delved into all aspects of commercial and residential construction.
Experiencing the various construction fields of pure project management (PM) on large-scale commercial and multifamily projects, serving as an owner’s representative for a commercial developer, bringing luxury residential projects to life as a site supervisor / PM, rehabbing historic homes in Detroit as a structural carpenter, and now running his own general contracting company in Minneapolis, attention to detail is a through line in every job, while his broad experience in the field allows him to see projects wholistically, solving potential conflicts before they can occur.
